vJoy is a free and open-source software that enables you to use your PC's keyboard and mouse as a joystick or gamepad. Essentially, this program fools video games that need a joystick or other controller into thinking that your PC keyboard is the necessary device. To properly utilize vJoy, you must first install the drivers, which might take some time. During installation, you have the option to include additional apps like vJoy Feeder App, vJoy Configuration App, vJoy Monitoring App, or vJoy Device Listing App alongside the drivers. While not essential, these apps can assist you in various driver configuration and monitoring tasks. Once the installation is complete, configuring vJoy is simple. Access the Windows Device Manager to locate the newly added vJoy Device. By double-clicking on this device, a window will open allowing you to easily set up different keys, the number of buttons, and sticks for your virtual joystick. The configuration window is user-friendly and straightforward. Download vJoy if you wish to play any video game without needing specific controllers. For instance, some airplane games necessitate a particular type of joystick, but with vJoy, this is no longer a problem.
